Our story

Why we started
Arachnid.

Manual inspection is the weakest link in critical asset maintenance. Aircraft, defense platforms, pipelines, and launch vehicles depend on human inspectors using decades-old methods — flashlights, magnifying glasses, and sampling-based spot checks that cover 60-70% of a surface on a good day. The other 30-40% is a bet.

We started Arachnid Systems to eliminate that bet. Our founding team — from Lockheed Martin defect-acquisition robotics, NASA hardware programs, Apple ops, Tesla manufacturing, USAF, Oracle, and Nokia / Epic Games AI infrastructure — saw the same pattern across industries: critical inspections performed by overstretched technicians with single-sense tools, generating subjective results.
